Chin Jin: Interview
Shortly after the March 10th events in Dharamsala, Chin Jin, from the Federation for a Democratic China, held a press conference. On March 10th, he had spoken in support of Tibet at the main temple. On the day of the press conference, this was his only private interview. We discussed youth action.

Entry-level students had their first exam this week. Wangdu is an excellent teacher. He has well over 30 students in his class, and has taken them from their ABCs to writing sentences within 3 weeks.

Today, HH the Dalai Lama gave a teaching. Cameras were not allowed, but puja continued throughout the day.

The upper level of the temple was full of monks and nuns praying and devotees saying mantras and turning prayer wheels.

It was so beautiful, I just pulled together rough clips to illustrate the atmosphere, I hope you enjoy.

Norbulinka is one of my favorite places to visit in India. It is clean, tranquil, and totally devoted to the creation and preservation of Tibetan art. There is a beautiful temple there as well, this footage was taken from the roof of the temple.

The staff of the Tibet Hope Center made over 1,000 cookies for Losar, Tibetan New Year's, for the 180 residents of the old age home. On 2/24, the first day of Losar, we will take the cookies over as part of the 'Groovy Grannie' project.
